CPD Joins Pink Patch Campaign

CPD Joins Pink Patch Project Campaign

September 24, 2018 – The Carlisle Police Department will be launching our inaugural Pink Patch Project Campaign on Monday, October 1, 2018. The Pink Patch Project is a campaign designed to bring awareness to the fight against breast cancer and to support research organizations in combating this life-changing disease.

During the month of October, CPD officers will have the option to replace their standard uniform patch with the pink version shown above. The pink patches are intended to encourage conversations within our community and bring awareness in the early detection and fight against cancer.

With a contribution made by the Carlisle Police Officers Association, a limited supply of pink patches will be available for purchase during the month of October. The generated funds raised will then be donated to local cancer related organizations that support patients and their families, treatment, research and education. This year, the proceeds will be donated to the John Stoddard Cancer Center Compassion Fund. The Compassion Fund provides cancer patients and their families with support and resources beyond what the hospital is able to provide.

Patches will be $10.00 each and may be picked up Monday- Friday 8:00AM- 4:30PM at the Carlisle Police Department. Cash or local checks are accepted. We hope that you will join CPD in supporting this great cause!
