Visit Friends of Carlisle Parks During 4th of July Celebration

LindHardt_ParkStop and visit the newly formed Friends of Carlisle Parks on Monday July 4th during the celebration.

We’ll have a table/tent right in the Middle of North Park between the Ball Diamond, North Shelter and Kids Playground.

The Friends of Carlisle Parks will soon be a 501(c)(3) non-profit group, with the goal of improving the parks with the help of grants, donations and volunteer services.

“The parks and trails benefit everyone in the community”, stated Joe Jenkins FOCP President, “We already have the support of the City, Chamber of Commerce and local business.  By stopping by our tent during the 4th, we’ll get a chance to meet anyone interested in the benefits the parks and trails provide our residents and visitors and there will be an opportunity for everyone to get involved in their community.”

Joe concludes, “We’re excited about this opportunity and look forward to seeing everyone at North Park during the fourth!”
