Swim Lessons offered at Aquatic Center

Swimming Lesson Registration

Swimming lesson registration is now open.  Please visit Carlisle City Hall to register.  Lessons are offered to children 5 years old and up.  Lessons occur Monday through Thursday for two weeks.  In the event of a cancellation due to weather, make-up lessons are completed on Fridays.  Cost of swim lessons are $40 for the 2-week session.

2 week sessions Include the following dates:

June 12-June 23 (9-9:45 class time only available)

June 26 -July 7

July 10-July 21

July 24-August 4

Time slots available include 9-9:45am or 10-10:45am.

Swim levels are determined by the child’s swimming ability.  Beginners are those children who are just at least 5 years old.  The beginners class will consist of kids who cannot perform any swimming strokes, for example the front stroke, back stroke, etc.  Beginners will be focusing on water safety, front float, back float and kicking with a kick board.   Intermediate class will include kids who will be learning their strokes.  They will practice and perform the front stroke and back stroke.   Advanced class will be kids that know their strokes and will focus on mastering the front stroke, back stroke, treading water and diving.   Your child swim level will be adjusted as needed if they are performing at a higher or lower level.

Private lessons are also offered.  Those classes will be scheduled once the Aquatic center is open for the season.  Private lessons are designed for one on one instruction and are 45 minutes long.  Cost of private lessons are $25 for each 45-minute lesson.   Please contact the pool manager to schedule all private lessons.

The Carlisle Aquatic Center swimming lessons are not affiliated with the American Red Cross.
