  • Consider first reading of ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CARLISLE, IOWA BY AMENDING PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO FRONT YARD FENCES.

  • Public Hearing on Amending Ordinance for Electronic Signs
  • Consider Approval of First Reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CARLISLE, IOWA BY AMENDING PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO MOVING/FLASHING SIGNS.
    • Consider waiving second and third readings

 

  • Consider Approval of First Reading of ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CARLISLE, IOWA, 2006, BY AMENDING PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO THE ELECTRIC UTILITY

  • Consider approval of 1.121 cents per kilowatt-hour Electric Cost Adder (ECA) each month starting November 2014 until June 2015

 

  • Public Hearing on Electric Franchise Ordinance and Agreement with MidAmerican Energy for Areas Not Served by Carlisle Municipal Electric Utility
  • Consider Approval of First Reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO MIDAMERICAN ENERGY COMPANY, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, THE RIGHT AND FRANCHISE TO ACQUIRE, CONSTRUCT, ERECT, MAINTAIN AND OPERATE IN THE CITY OF CARLISLE, IOWA, AN ELECTRIC SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES AND TO FURNISHAND SELL ELECTRIC ENERGY TO THE CITY AND ITS INHABITANTS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO COLLECT FRANCHISE FEES FOR A PERIOD OF 25 YEARS
